Neuberger Berman raids J.P. Morgan for fixed income manager

Neuberger Berman has poached Jon Jonsson from J.P. Morgan Asset Management (JPMAM) to work as a senior portfolio manager for the firm's global fixed income strategies.

Jonsson, who was head of global aggregate strategies at JPMAM, worked at the group for 15 years prior to his move to Neuberger Berman. Andrew Johnson, head of investment-grade fixed income said: "Jon's significant experience is a great complement to our global fixed income team. "Neuberger Berman continues to invest where we see opportunities to excel for clients. Just this past year, we also established a multi-site, 22-person emerging markets debt team as a complement to our fixed income offering."
