Apollo co-founder McGrath to exit this month

Apollo Multi Asset Management founding partner Tom McGrath is set to exit the firm at the end of this month.

The three remaining partners will take over McGrath’s stake in the company as he leaves to pursue other opportunities. Steve Brann will become lead manager on the IFDS Apollo Multi Asset Balanced fund from the end of June. The other three funds in the firm’s UK domiciled fund range  – Adventurous, Cautious, and Defensive – will be managed on a collegiate basis by the investment team. McGrath co-founded the boutique in 2008 with former Miton colleague Brann, along with Craig Wetton, before Ian Willings joined the firm in 2010.
