Neil Woodford's £920m Edinburgh Investment trust will emerge as one of the key winners in the closed-ended space after RDR, investment trust broker Canaccord Genuity has said.
The broker said any boost the investment trust sector receives from RDR rule changes will not be spread evenly among the vehicles, with a few mainstream trusts - such as Woodford's - likely to reap the lion's share of any inflows. Alan Brierley, investment trust analyst at the firm, said trusts which have proved they offer high levels of liquidity will see the greatest demand.
