GLG launches long/short financials fund

GLG has launched a UCITS III version of its long/short financials strategy, managed by David Sanders and Stephen Holliday.

The GLG Financials Alternative fund is a global long/short equity fund, targeting absolute returns and reduced market correlation through active trading of financials stocks. The Dublin-domiciled portfolio invests in between 30 and 60 stocks, which are usually overall net market neutral. The discretionary investment manager of Man Group plans to seek regulatory approval to market the fund to UK retail investors. Minimum subscription for retail classes is £/€/$1,000.
