VAM Funds has launched a Commodities Equity vehicle to tap into the rapidly increasing demand for resources from the world's emerging economies.
The Ucits III compliant fund, launching in partnership with FF&P Asset Management, will invest in commodity related equities but will also aim to provide an additional protective layer by the aggressive use of cash and ETFs. The majority of the portfolio, between 30%-70%, will be in large cap stocks, in order to provide ample liquidity in declining markets.
