Liontrust revamps fund range

Liontrust is revamping its fund range by merging two UK portfolios and renaming its entire suite of products.

Under the proposed changes, the £22m First Large Cap fund, managed by Gary West and James Inglis-Jones, will merge into the £116m First Growth fund, which is run by Anthony Cross and Julian Fosh. The merged vehicle will be renamed UK Growth. The funds have a similar remit, though the First Large Cap fund is restricted to investing in FTSE 350 companies. The merger is expected to reduce the TER for investors in the First Large Cap fund.
