Aberdeen notes continued exit from UK equities

Aberdeen Asset Management continued to see investors exiting UK equities in Q2, as the group posted an overall £337m net inflow for the quarter.

It is the group's second straight quarter of net inflows, following the £2.66bn recorded in Q1. The second quarter flows were much improved on the £2.2bn outflow recorded in corresponding period last year. The majority of the group's outflows have been from segregated mandates, primarily in lower margin fixed income and money market funds. While the group saw strong inflows of £1.4bn and £896m in its global emerging markets and Asia Pacific strategies respectively for the quarter, redemptions from UK equities continued.
