Ashmore is launching eight Sicav funds focused mainly on Emerging Markets.
Two of the EM specialist's new funds will focus on sovereign debt, and three on EM corporate debt. The remaining portfolios will focus on EM equities, local currency money markets, and a multi-strategy fund. The funds will add to the four Sicavs Ashmore currently offers. Investors will need to invest at least £25,000. Details on fees are unavailable. Jerome Booth, Ashmore's head of research, says the new products are an expansion of what Ashmore already does.
