Recent correction likely to be the last - Dalton

The near 10% fall in shares since January does not presage another bear market, says Dalton Strategic Partnership.

Andrew Dalton, the $1.7bn firm's co-founder and chief investment officer, says investors should not fear another sizeable correction, if history is any guide. He says nine of the 16 bull markets since 1942 have had pull-backs of at least 10% - not far above the 7.3% decline global shares have suffered since January - but none had more than one such correction.
