Ashby arrives at LV= as head of UK equity team

Graham Ashby and the former Credit Suisse income team have arrived at LV= Asset Management, assuming control of the group's UK Growth and UK Equity Income funds.

Ashby joins as LVAM’s head of UK equities, as the mutual insurance group looks to build its presence in the retail market. His former CSAM colleagues – Michael Crawford, Marcus Chandler and Mira Bhogaita – have also joined LVAM’s Chris Price on the UK equities team. LVAM currently has £1.1bn UK equity assets, primarily in life funds. While Ashby will oversee the UK equity range, he will be directly responsible for the £73m UK Equity Income vehicle, while Crawford will spearhead the £236m UK Growth portfolio.
