Fixed income boutique TwentyFour Asset Management is launching a bond fund investing in residential mortgage-backed securities (RMBS) and targeting an annual yield of 7%. TwentyFour Monument Bond fund aims to provide a constant income stream, investing in RMBS, which are typically floating-rate notes, which benefit from future rate rises. The securities are ranked higher risk than gilts but due to limited interest rate and inflation risk, they are placed slightly lower risk than investment grade corporate bonds.
