Barclays Wealth has boosted the annual payoff on the latest tranche of its Defined Returns Plan, also closing the last version a week early due to demand. The plan offers an 11% annual return for each year the hit is in force, compared to 10% on the tranche launched in December. If the index is either the same or higher than its starting level on any anniversary, the five-year plan automatically matures and delivers the accumulated return.
