Web-based information providers Multex is now actively marketing its internet research tool to intermediaries and private investors. The company launched the tool following the set up of a joint venture with Reuters back in May. It provides free broker research to investors, although they have to subscribe. The groups also devises websites for fund management companies to inform investors of fund performance and strategies.
