Close Brothers is opening its £443m commercial property fund of funds to Isa investors. Although individual property unit trusts are not eligible Isa investments, this product involves holding shares in an offshore company, as with an investment trust for example, and is therefore allowed within the wrapper. The Guernsey-listed closed-ended company invests in the group's Closepip commercial property fund of funds, which holds seven underlying property portfolios focusing on different areas of the asset class.
