Aberdeen launched an offshore version of the Fixed Interest fund it sold to New Star at the start of the year. Fixed Interest, to be managed by Paul Reed, was a sub-fund of the Aberdeen International Dublin Oeic. Gary Marshall, managing director of Aberdeen, said the group had retained institutional investments in the funds sold on to New Star and the fund would enable it to service these clients.
