Bond markets are still rallying, with many investors reallocating assets into bonds. With most of the major economies experiencing sub-trend growth, interest rates are on a downward path and bond yields may well continue to fall. Further interest rate cuts are likely in Europe and the UK, while the US and Japan are also looking at ways to stimulate their economies. The Bank of England has lowered its growth expectations for this year on the back of the weak economic environment. The rest of Europe and the US is also suffering from weak economies, so there is little chance of the UK...
