James Hughes is no longer running money for HSBC in the UK, two years after his high-profile appointment from Axa to head the multi-manager division. Hughes stopped having direct involvement in the group's Open range earlier this year, replaced by Cara MacGregor and Raphael Sobotka, head of multi-manager Europe.
