Yuktai Chan has joined Threadneedle's Asian equity desk to run institutional mandates. Chan joins from British Airways Pension Fund and is replacing Kirsteen Jessop, who is leaving the industry. Former Prolific and Scottish Widows fund manager Ed Gaunt has also now joined the group's Japanese team from American Express as part of Threadneedle's assumption of responsibilty for parent company Amex's fund management. Gaunt and emerging market specialist Julian Thompson are the only managers to move over to Threadneedle from American Express, with the other managers losing their jobs. T...
