Deputy manager Katy Dobson is to take over lead responsibilities on the £950m Threadneedle Latin American fund as Jules Mort steps down to focus on institutional mandates. Mort has worked at Threadneedle since 2001 and has run the fund since 2003 after taking over from Dominic Rossi. Mort previously ran the Latin American fund at Baillie Gifford. He has decided to focus on the institutional mandates as more of these clients have become interested in Latin America as an asset class.
