Manager of inflation-linked bond believes unprotected investors could lose half of assets
Fidelity's Andy Weir believes investors without protection against global inflation could see the value of their assets halve over 20 years. The manager of Fidelity's just-launched Global Inflation-Linked Bond fund said: "With the global rate of inflation running at 3.9% at the end of March, investors who fail to shield their savings from rising prices will see the value of their money halve in just 20 years.
