Margaret McLaren, investment director of European equities, is departing Britannic Asset Management as part of a restructuring of the business. The restructuring involves putting into place four chief investment officers focusing on key areas, with each reporting directly to Gavin Stewart, chief executive at Britannic. Peter Reid, currently overall CIO, will become CIO of UK equities, essentially reverting back to a role he held from 1991-1999.
