A third Fidelity special situations manager is to step down from his fund with Neal Miller, who runs American Special Situations, due to give up his portfolio this summer. Three weeks ago the firm announced that Asako Kibe, manager of Fidelity Japan Special Situations, is to retire while veteran UK special situations manager, Anthony Bolton, is due to retire at the end of 2007. His Fidelity Special Situations portfolio will be split in two imminently with Bolton set to run both parts until the end of this year.
