Norwich Union is offering three- and six-year protected products offering two and a half times the growth in the FTSE 100. Upside on the Capital Protected Plan is capped at 24% for the shorter version and 60% on the six-year term. For both plans, capital protection and participation only apply if the plan is held for the full term. If they cash in early, investors receive the underlying value of the assets at that time, which could be less than the amount originally invested. Partial encashment during the term is not permitted.
