Collins Stewart is bringing a focused UK fund to the market, its first launch since creating a standalone asset management business last month. UK Focus will be managed by David Shapiro, who joined the firm from Morley in August. He will run a concentrated portfolio focusing on undervalued companies that have sound fundamentals, with a preference for simple businesses out of favour for some reason.
