Claudia Philips has joined Alliance Trust as managing director of investment dealing. Philips was previously at Halifax Share Dealing and will focus on the development of Alliance Trust investment dealing business. Her appointment coincides with the first stage launch of Alliance Trust Savings’ online investment dealing service for Isa, Pep, investment and pension customers. The service offers free transfer of cash between accounts, income management and access to a range of research tools. Alliance Trust Savings will launch the full service to UK investors early next year.
