Edinburgh Portfolio, a subsidiary of Aberdeen Asset Management, has handed its £162m Personal Pension Plan to Jessop Fund Managers (JFM). The group said that under this arrangement current investors in the Pension Plan will be able to open new pension schemes, but outside investors will no longer be able to join up. While Aberdeen will retain its investment management responsibility for the 9000 existing private investors, JFM will take management and regulatory responsibility for the 3 underlying funds.
