It is natural that investors should look to what they know best when compiling their equity portfolios. It comes as no surprise that IMA UK All Companies is the country's largest equity sector at £95bn. The total swells to around £150bn once retail and institutional investments in UK Equity Income and UK Smaller Companies funds are taken into account.
