Ethical investment has been available to investors for more than 20 years and has grown in complexity and sophistication, while the choice available has expanded dramatically. The original and most well known approach to ethical investment is to avoid areas of concern - negative screening. This involves identifying companies whose activities are seen as incompatible with their ethics.
