Pooled funds of hedge funds failed to achieve a positive quarterly return for the first time in 12 months over Q3, figures from BoNY Mellon have revealed. During the third quarter, the median return for FoHF managers was -0.8%. Despite the relative underperformance however, these funds still outperformed other key sectors during the quarter, including pooled UK equity and property offerings, which returned -2.6% and -0.9% respectively.
