Structured products appear to be an ideal tool for dealing with clients' retirement needs. They have many of the characteristics those in retirement and heading towards it need in an investment vehicle. They often offer a fixed return or income and protect capital invested, both of which should appeal to those for whom a defined income and preservation of funds are important.
