Marlborough Fund Managers jumped at the chance to work with ARN Investment Partners two years ago when the latter's relationship with Brown Shipley came to an end. ARN's managing partners Jeffrey Lum and Christopher Wong began working together in 1994 at GT Asset Management, before Wong left to set up ARN in 1997 after building up a 10-year track record. Lum stayed at GT Asset Management until after the Asian crisis and joined Wong in 2001 to work on a number of mandates, including the Solus Eastern Enterprise fund on behalf of Brown Shipley.
