CF Ruffer European fund tops Balanced Managed sector over three years, doubling the level of second-best returning Old Mutual vehicle

Balanced Managed funds have produced an 85% plus spread of returns over the past three years, reflecting the peer group's diversity of region and asset class. To qualify for inclusion in the sector, managers must hold a maximum equity exposure of 85%, with at least 10% in non-UK equities and 50% of assets in sterling or euro. CF Ruffer European tops the sector over three years to the end of May with a bid to bid return of 107.91% according to figures from Morningstar.
