The Conservative party sparked debate in the financial services industry last week, with a report from its Economic Competitiveness Policy Group recommending the abolition of inheritane tax to boost Britain's economy. The report, Freeing Britain to Compete, was commissioned in 2006 by party leader David Cameron and co-chaired by former cabinet minister John Redwood.
