Focused stockpicking has helped co-manager Higham improve performance on portfolio after difficult start

Having taken over management of the Old Mutual Dynamic Bond fund alongside Andrew Tunks in 2005, Chris Higham has begun to turn performance around. In the first year of the fund's life, from 1 October 2004 until 3 October 2005, the product underperformed the UK Other Bond sector average by one percentage point, ranking it 30 out of 43 on a bid to bid basis, according to Standard & Poor's.
