Morningstar promotes Monika Calay to director of UK manager research

Morningstar has promoted its director of passive strategies, Monika Calay, to a newly created role, tasked with leading its UK manager research team.

Calay will become director of UK manager research, covering both the active and passives research teams "in order to help meet clients' needs and optimise the existing talent within the teams", Morningstar said. Fixed income funds gather €82bn in Q1 2024 amid 'continued investor love story' She originally joined Morningstar in 2015 as a research analyst, before departing for a two-year stint at Vanguard in 2018, to then rejoin the firm in 2020 as director of research. Prior to Morningstar, Calay spent three years as a product specialist at Bloomberg.
