Alliance Trust replaces Jupiter with ARGA IM after Ben Whitmore exit

Willis Towers Watson, Alliance Trust’s investment manager, has appointed ARGA Investment Management to its global equity multi-manager line-up, replacing Jupiter following the news of Ben Whitmore’s departure.

After more than 17 years at Jupiter, Whitmore is set to exit the asset manager to establish his own investment boutique by the end of July, at which point he will hand over management of Jupiter's UK Special Situations fund, as well as its Income and Global Value trusts.
