BNP Paribas AM promotes long-serving EM corporates chief to head of EMD

BNP Paribas Asset Management has promoted head of emerging markets corporates Alaa Bushehri to head of emerging markets debt.

She is based in the firm's London office and reports to CIO fixed income Olivier de Larouzière. Rathbones head of sales Greg Mullins exits after 13 years Bushehri has been with the firm for 20 years and spent the past 11 of those as head of emerging markets corporates. In this role, she was responsible for alpha decisions related to hard and local currency emerging market corporate risk. Before that, she was a portfolio analyst at the now-retired BNPP AM subsidiary Fischer Francis Trees & Watts (FFTW).
