Carmignac co-founder to retire after 35 years

Carmignac co-founder Eric Helderlé is set to retire from the firm he established with Edouard Carmignac in 1989 at the end of this month.

Helderlé will remain a member of the firm's board of directors. The senior management team will now comprise of the aforementioned remaining co-founder, UK CEO and director Maxime Carmignac and managing directors Rose Ouahba and Christophe Peronin. JP Morgan American chair to retire after ten years Ouahba was promoted to managing director in anticipation of Helderlé's exit. She had led the firm's distribution and marketing operations since late 2023. A spokesperson from the firm said both "have worked closely together over the last seven months to ensure an effective transition"...
