BlackRock launches two active iShares ETFs in Europe

BlackRock has launched two active equity income ETFs in Europe, the first time it has brought this type of strategy to the region.

The European-listed funds – iShares World Equity High Income UCITS ETF (WINC) and iShares US Equity High Income UCITS ETF (INCU) – seek to generate income by actively managing a basket of primarily dividend paying stocks and by selling index call options. BlackRock said both ETFs are "designed to provide investors with a differentiated strategy". WINC and INCU are managed by the BlackRock systematic team, in collaboration with the iShares ETF platform teams.
