Kames's Haworth appointed deputy head of equities

Kames Capital has promoted Phil Haworth to the role of deputy head of equities, supporting Stephen Adams.

Haworth has worked for Kames since joining in 1995, when it was Aegon Asset Management, where he joined straight after graduating from Oxford University. Kames expands absolute return range with global equity fund He will support Adams in running Kames' 30-strong equities team across multi-cap, smaller companies, absolute return, ethical and unconstrained strategies. Haworth will also continue to co-run the £241m Kames UK Equity and £3.1bn Aegon UK Equity Pension funds.
