Great British Wealth Off: Fundscape launches year-long portfolio comparison experiment

Research house Fundscape is running a year-long experiment called the Great British Wealth Off which will compare the performance, charges and asset growth of various active and passive model portfolios.

The firm has selected a range of different passive and active solutions, both advised and non-advised, including two portfolios put together by GBi2's Graham Bentley (pictured), and each quarter will give an update on performance, asset growth and fees and conclude with a final review at the end of the year. Fundscape has selected five different investment options and started then all off on 2 February: one offered by robo-advice firm Moneyfarm; Architas MA Active Progressive, an active fund of funds managed by Nathan Sweeney; two active multi-asset funds, Hawksmoor Vanbrugh and Royal Lo...
