James Hambro & Partners has hired James Beck from Quilter Cheviot as a partner at the firm.

Beck spent ten years at Quilter Cheviot and was a founding partner of Cheviot Asset Management, which merged with Quilter in 2013. His responsibilities included managing portfolios for individuals, trusts and charities and chairing the Quilter Cheviot Alternative Investments Committee.
