Pictet expands total return range with long/short global equity fund

Pictet Asset Management has launched the PTR-Atlas fund, a long/short global equity vehicle, adding to the firm's total return range.

The fund, will be managed by a team of found based in Geneva, headed by Matthieu Fleck, alongside James Wigley, Adrien de Susanne d'Epinay and Philip Wilson. It will combine top-down analysis, such as business cycle indicators and liquidity conditions, with bottom-up fundamental stockpicking. The fund's objective is to achieve long-term capital growth with a strong focus on capital preservation in down markets.
