Schroders attracted £2bn in net inflows during the third quarter of 2016 after reporting a difficult first half, with £1.1bn coming from the intermediary channel.
In its results today for the nine months to 30 September, the firm reported net inflows for the period of £3.2bn (comprising net institutional inflows of £5.4bn and net outflows of £2.2bn from the intermediary channel), as negative sentiment around the Brexit referendum hit investor sentiment in the first half. However, flows turned positive for the intermediary channel in the three months to the end of September at £1.1bn, with another £1bn coming from the institutional part of the business over the period.
