Ex-Schroders manager Banyard joins Buffettology team

The former co-manager of the Schroders UK Smaller Companies fund Rosemary Banyard has joined Sanford DeLand Asset Management to work on the group's top-performing CFP SDL UK Buffettology fund.

Banyard (pictured), who has 18 years experience, was co-head of Schroders' pan-European mid- and small-cap team and co-manager of the £580m UK Smaller Companies fund and the £149m Mid Cap investment trust alongside Andy Brough until her departure in March this year. The board of Sanford DeLand Asset Management announced this morning she would be joining the firm as investment director to work alongside founder and manager of the Buffettology fund Keith Ashworth-Lord, and pointed to potential future product launches.
