Lombard Odier appoints six to London office in hiring spree

Lombard Odier Private Bank has made six hires in London as it embarks on an investment programme in a bid to strengthen its UK presence.

The appointments all join the London-based team headed up by the firm's UK CEO Duncan MacIntyre (pictured), who joined the group in January from Coutts. Lombard Odier IM boosts liquid alternatives range with CAT bond fund Karl Von Bezing has joined the company as chief operating officer from Ernst & Young, where he worked in the wealth and asset management division for five years; he also previously held a director role at Scorpio Partnership.
