Source hires Nomura's Johnson to broaden European footprint

Thompson takes on extra responsibilities

ETF provider Source has hired Matt Johnson from Nomura as head of EMEA coverage to build the firm's sales infrastructure across Europe.

Reporting to recently appointed CEO Julian Ide (pictured), Johnson will be based in London in his new role. At Nomura he was managing director and head of EMEA equity flow derivative sales since 2014, and was global head of distribution at ETF Securities prior to that.
