Pictet hires trio of managers for thematic funds

Pictet Asset Management has added to its thematic equities investment team with three new hires for its Water, Clean Energy and Robotics strategies.

Peter Lingen has joined to co-manage the $203m (£141m) Robotics strategy, which launched in October last year, alongside Karen Kharmandarian. Meanwhile, Simon Gottelier and Christian Roessing join as senior investment managers for the €3.1bn (£2.3bn) Water and $493 (£342m) Clean Energy strategies respectively. The three managers will be based in Geneva. Gottelier joins from Impax Asset Management, where he managed the Impax Global Water strategy and co-managed the All-Cap Resource Optimisation 'Leaders' strategy.
