Shareholders vote to rename 43-year-old Jupiter Primadona trust

Shareholders in the 43-year-old Jupiter Primadona Growth trust have agreed to change its name to the Jupiter Global trust, following an annual general meeting.

In a statement, the board of directors said a resolution was passed last week to change the name of the company and it is now in the process of applying to Companies House to register the new title. The £53m trust, managed by Richard Curling, has been known as the Primadona Growth trust since its launch in 1972. Curling, who has been manager since 2008, said he has been in favour of a name change for some time.
