LGIM partners with Source for ETF push

New platform to launch in 2016

Legal & General Investment Management has formed a new partnership with Source to make a move into the exchange traded funds (ETF) market in 2016.

ETF provider Source has appointed LGIM as investment manager on a new platform that will launch a range of ETFs into the market next year, according to the Financial Times. The new partnership marks LGIM's first significant push into the ETF space, and Source's increased focus on physical, rather than synthetic, exchange traded products.
